Below is our specialty range, consisting of a variety of more unique, special fibres or fibre blends from First Edition Fibres (With the exception of the 19.5 White). 60/40 Seasons Range
The 60/40 range is a beautiful blend of 60% fine 22 micron Merino wool & 40% Silk, dyed in a beautiful 4 seasons range. This fibre is exquisite in nuno felting and incorporated into other felting forms, creating not only a beautiful drape but also adding a lustrous sheen and delightful silky feel to any project.

This beautiful 60/40 Blend is blended using 60% White Merino wool with 40% springtime random dyed Silk double guilled to mix the colours through. |

This lovely blend of Wool & dyed Silk is made up of 85% Merino wool & 15% random dyed Silk giving each blend that somethig special.

Alpaca, Silk & Camel
This beautiful blend of natural coloured 50% black Alpaca, 30% Silk & 20% Camel hair reminds me of black, silver and gold. The texture of this fibre blend is beautiful, producing amazing results in nuno felting with excellent drape and lovely sheen.

Very Fine 19.5 Micron Merino Wool
We carry a very fine 19.5 micron Merino wool in natural white colour. A beautiful soft fibre with wonderful handle. Great for any home dyeing projects or to use in its natural white form.

Nops:
These nops are little felted pieces of wool in a random variety of colours and nop sizes starting from around 2mm. They are a novel way to add colour and texture to your felting project. I generally add the nops to my project during or after laying out the fibres, before I wet the project and start the actual felting process. As these nops are already felted to varying degrees, some will not felt in so you may want to apply more that you require to you project to allow for some comming off.
